Technology Hell

Technology hell comes in many flavors. 

 
One form is when a business doesn't understand the need to plan ahead with a technology plan that includes disaster prevention, documentation, and technology policies and procedures. Organizations and businesses can be seriously threatened by technology down time.  

Another is the IT Support person or company that flies by the seat of their pants and can't provide a clear outline of the technology infrastructure and disaster prevention plan in place at your organization.

And one more for this list... No backup process, and no backup testing procedure to check to see if the back up will work when you need it to work.

These situations don't happen through bad intentions, but through a very natural focus on other aspects of your business which are your primary area of interest.  However, like automobiles, computers, networks, and information services require maintenance and monitoring to make sure they stay running.
