Strategic Help started working with SharePoint sites approximately 3 years ago.  Basic Intranet sharing and collaboration sites that helped small organizations cope with sharing and organizing files that are important to them when they are in and out of their primary office. 

What Else Are We Doing?

 

Our work right now includes:

  • New client setups and system certification 
  • Google Apps migration for a school
  • ShrePoint setup with new provider for client that is upgrading its internal communication and project management systems.
  • Assisting several clients in their server and email clean up including helping to developo policies adn procedures for maintining a balance of retention and minimizing storage and backup costs. 

Signature Blocks?

Email signatures are useful but sometimes they are overdone.  Same with disclaimers.  To warn people with scary sounding language that if they have received the email in error they are under legal obligation to do what a stranger is telling them to do (or not do) with is a bit absurd and may not get the desired response. 

I only use signatures selectively, not in automatic mode where everyone always gets one.
