Though ARM already dominates the smartphone processor market segment, the company clearly hopes that device makers will tap the new Cortex-A15 MPCore processor to run in a significantly wider array of offerings -- from next-generation smartphones, tablets, and digital home entertainment devices to wireless base stations and enterprise infrastructure -- beginning in 2012.
